Achilles is the greatest fighter among the Greek forces at Troy, a warrior of legendary instinct and ferocious loyalty who commands the Myrmidons with the kind of authority that silences doubt in a single look. The one person he trusts above all others is Memnon, his closest companion through nine grueling years of siege. When a soldier named Ferro raises suspicions about Memnon being an outsider and possibly a Trojan spy, Achilles shuts it down without hesitation, citing every battle they have fought together and every life Memnon has saved. He goes further than words, giving Memnon a necklace passed down from his own mother as a gesture of brotherhood. For Achilles, the bond is unambiguous and total.

When the Trojan Horse finally splits open and the Greeks flood the city, Achilles is in the thick of it, and he notices the moment Memnon disappears. He fights his way out and reaches the palace in time to see his closest friend confronting Helen and Paris and letting them walk free. To Achilles, the picture is complete and damning: Memnon was the Trojan spy Ferro always warned him about. He attacks with everything he has, grief and rage pulling in the same direction, and he cannot be reasoned with. B'kai has no choice. A slash to the heel slows him, and the fight ends there. Achilles dies in Troy, his suspicions correct about the deception but wrong about what it meant, never knowing that the man who killed him had genuinely considered him a friend.
