Fenris appears in Hela's memories during her training at Ta Lo, surfacing as she works through what Odin truly took from her. She recalls watching her father chain Fenris as a pup, cutting down a creature that was becoming dangerous rather than teaching it to fight at his side. The memory lands differently now. Where it once read as strength and discipline, she sees it as the same control Odin exerted over her. It is the image that finally crystallizes what she has been fighting for all along: not conquest, but the freedom to choose her own path. Fenris, chained and silenced, becomes the mirror that shows Hela exactly what she refuses to be.

Then, at the very end, he is unchained. When Hela and Wenwu arrive at Zen-Whoberi to confront Thanos, Fenris carries her into that charge, a freed wolf bearing a freed goddess into a fight neither of them was ever supposed to win the right to take. The image completes the arc that the memory began.
