Jane Foster

Jane Foster is a nurse who works alongside Dr. Donald Blake and is unaware that her colleague is secretly Thor. She becomes caught in Loki's conflict with Thor when the villain targets her as part of his plan. Loki uses his powers to place Jane under his control, turning her into a weapon that can be used against Thor without requiring Loki to defeat the God of Thunder directly.

Thor's concern for Jane becomes an important weakness that Loki exploits. Rather than abandoning her to continue pursuing Loki, Thor chooses to protect Jane, allowing Loki to temporarily escape.

Jane Foster works alongside Dr. Don Blake and accompanies him to the carnival where Sandu demonstrates his mental abilities. She witnesses Sandu's performance before Loki enhances his powers. Jane remains with Blake as the strange events surrounding Sandu escalate and the city begins experiencing supernatural disturbances.
