Snark Industries exists because Remy wanted to watch everything... every film, every series, every animated corner of the Marvel universe... EVERYTHING in the order the stories actually occurred. Not release order. No. The proper, temporal order.
His wife was, respectfully, not interested.
So he called Jon. Naturally, being a Marvel Fanboy himself, he was on board immediately!
That was the beginning of an embarrassing amount of research, a purpose-built production company, and the website you're currently reading. Snark Industries is THE Marvel podcast and companion website built around one simple, deeply unreasonable goal: Experience the entire Marvel universe in the order the stories actually take place... and catalog it. Simple, right?

Who is Snark Industries?
Remy "Gambit"

It all started at a gas station. A 7 year old Remy stumbled across a silver foiled edition of NightWatch #1. That was all it took. Hooked.
Since, Marvel has become something of a lifestyle. A fanboy to the core. A fact that roughly 25% of my body can attest to. My left arm, chest, and the left side of my torso are nothing short of a love letter to the characters that have taught me so much. Caps shield, Gambit's cards, Dr Strange's cape, Deadpool mid-action, Nightcrawler mid-BAMF, Iron Man's Arc Reactor on my chest with the Spider-Man symbol protruding from behind it being consumed by Venom's symbiote.. One might say, I'm obsessed. While my specialty is X-Men, I'll go to mat for any corner of the Marvel Universe.
As credentials outside of comics are concerned, I bring a production background spanning half a dozen podcast, multiple YouTube channels, and a semi-successful run on Twitch as 1/4 of The Sons of Glitches. Snark Industries is operated under my production company, Evidence of Effort, LLC. From the HOURS of research into when these stories take place (and the stress that comes with knowing I've gotten some wrong) to the obsessive detail put into every page on the site.. I hope it's obvious that we take this silliness very seriously.

Long ago, in a quiet South Carolina suburb, a young Jon began a tradition that would change the trajectory of his life forever. I didn't have much say over what was on the TV in our house with one marked exception...Saturday mornings. I don't recall the very first time, but I have the fondest memories of sitting in the living room floor watching X-Men, The Spider-Man Animated Series, and so many more. I have been all in on the super heroes ever since.
I didn't get into reading the comics until I was an adult, but once I started, I consumed them ravenously. Even so, the bulk of my knowledge and love for all of this comes from the screen. I have walls and shrines dedicated to various bits of comic book memorabilia, and a wardrobe full of graphic tees that fit the same vibe. I am also what some may call... a bit obsessed.
I find myself drawn to the darker heroes across the various stories that have been told. The white knight trope has never quite resonated with me but I can still appreciate their quality. I will always hold out hope that my beloved Ghost Rider gets the screen adaptation he deserves someday. In the meantime, I'll continue making my way through every story and arc I can find, and I very much look forward to taking this temporal journey through the MCU with all of you.
I've done media creation before, both in podcast form and on Twitch. I'm a people person by trade and genuinely passionate about this content and especially about this project I get the privilege to do with Remy. All in all, I'm just here for the love of the game.

Reaching even further back into our catalog, we had this podcast up and running a decade or more ago.. Eventually, we'll go through and give credit to those involved and pinpoint exactly when this was 'airing', but for now (due to more pressing projects), let's just say.. it's dated. BUT, we hope you enjoy regardless.
