Torrak commands the Toad Men spacecraft that captures Bruce Banner and Rick Jones. He uses the Toad Men's magnetic technology to pull the two men aboard and questions Banner about Earth's scientists. Torrak explains that the Toad Men possess mastery over magnetism and that their fleet is preparing to invade Earth. Banner refuses to cooperate with him.
Torrak keeps Banner aboard the spacecraft after sending Rick back to Earth in a protective cylinder. When darkness reaches the ship and Banner transforms into the Hulk, Torrak and the other Toad Men are unable to contain him. Hulk overpowers the crew and takes control of the vessel's weapons before military missiles destroy the spacecraft. Torrak's forces survive the crash long enough for the Toad Men to escape underground and signal the invasion fleet.
