The Lady in the Lake
Whitney Frost, star of "The F Stands for Freedom" and "Tales of Suspense", is Calvin Chadwick's wife and a successful Hollywood actress. She accompanies Chadwick to the Santa Anita races, where Edwin Jarvis approaches her while Peggy questions Chadwick. Jarvis presents himself as a representative of Stark Pictures and offers Whitney a potential role in a spy film. Whitney becomes interested when she learns that the proposed role would be a female secret agent.
Whitney is later revealed as not only knowing of Chadwick's affair, but seems to have had a hand in the disposing of Jane Scott's body and the fallout thereafter.
