Natasha is present at the moment Carter vanishes, standing with only a car between them when Wanda's portal tears open beneath Carter's feet and pulls her through. She slides across the hood and reaches for her in a valiant attempt at saving her friend. She's unable to stop Peggy from falling through the tear in the world. Carter is gone before anything can be done, and Natasha is left standing in the aftermath with no explanation for what just happened or where her ally has been taken. It is a brief moment, but it is the last thing Carter sees from her own universe before landing in 1602, and it is the last Natasha sees of her.
