The Destroyer Armor is deployed by Hogan during his pursuit of Carter before she reaches Stark, sent in as heavy enforcement when his initial forces prove insufficient to bring her in. It is a period-incongruous presence in a 1602 setting, which is entirely the point, one more piece of 21st century technology that has bled through into the wrong century alongside everyone else.
