Thor: Tales of Asgard
Amora is a sorceress of Asgard and the tutor guiding young Loki in the magical arts. She instructs him in the discipline of spellcraft, teaching that a spell's true power lies in its whisper and that a real master needs only to think it. When Loki succeeds in granting life to water and turning it into a striking snake, she praises the feat as the mark of rare talent.
Her lesson is cut short when Thor arrives and dismisses her so he can speak with his brother alone. She defers to the prince and takes her leave, her brief appearance planting the seed of the sorcerous bond between teacher and pupil.
