Captain Carter Were the First Avenger?
Clint Barton is one of the two SHIELD operatives on hand when Captain Carter emerges from the Tesseract's portal nearly seventy years after disappearing into it. He is there at Nick Fury's side as the long-lost hero comes through, stepping into the present from a war seven decades gone.
He's there to take in the impossible sight of Captain Carter returned. Recognizing the impossible figure before them, he turns to Fury and tells him that this is Captain Carter.
