While the Greek and Trojan armies clash in a decade-long war ostensibly over her honor.
During the final sacking of the city, Helen is confronted by Memnon as she attempts to flee alongside her lover, Paris. Her role shifts from a symbol of war to a practical obstacle when she is persuaded to surrender her necklace to the infiltrator.
