James Montgomery Falsworth is a British officer of the 3rd Independent Parachute Brigade, captured by Hydra and held in Schmidt's Austrian weapons facility. The lone Englishman among the American prisoners, he is freed when Steve Rogers storms the base to rescue the captured men, and he joins the fight out of the burning factory.
He is among those Rogers recruits into the Howling Commandos, signing on with dry enthusiasm and raising the first toast to the Captain when the team comes together over drinks. A capable and good-humored soldier, Falsworth fights alongside Captain America through the war on Hydra's bases across Europe.
