Time and Tide
Molly Bowden is a Griffith resident. Her stay ends the moment her boyfriend Jimmy turns up above the first floor. That is the one rule landlady Miriam Fry treats as sacred and breaking it is unforgivable. Fry makes a public spectacle of the eviction, ordering Molly to pack her things in front of the assembled residents as a lesson to everyone else. It is a small, sharp humiliation. It also plants a seed in Peggy Carter, who starts to reason that if a determined man can breach a supposedly impenetrable building, so can a determined thief.
