Betrayal
Betrayal

Ogden serves as the assistant to Dr. Alethea Faber at her hospital in Queens, at her side as the reporter, Robbie Robertson, arrives asking questions about the powered men in her care. He stands with the doctor through the confrontation, obviously part of the operation drawing scrutiny from those investigating the source of the city's superhuman afflictions.

After their heated meeting with Robbie, he and Faber return to her office to find Ben Reilly. Though Ben plays the part of a lost patient and slips away, Ogden recognizes him as one of the soldiers who freed the POWs in France years earlier. He gives chase at Faber's order, but reaches the street too late, with Ben and Robbie already fled. That evening, fleeing the hospital for fear of what the reporter's article will do to them, he and Dr. Faber are approached by Cat, who delivers what could be the answer to everything the pair has been searching for.

Milestone: Regained his youth

Milestone: Killed by Dirk Leyden

Ogden comes to Ben Reilly's door asking him to stop Robbie's article so Dr. Faber's work can go on, showing him a wartime photograph that reveals he was one of the young prisoners Ben freed in France, held alongside Flint and Addison. Though he appears to be an old man, he is only thirty-six, his mutation aging him far beyond his years. When Ben refuses and says he is leaving town, Ogden injects him with a sedative and helps bring the unconscious detective to a secret laboratory.

He stands with his mother through her work on Ben, apologizing to the captive even as he tells him he was left no other choice. The cure comes at last when Faber injects him with a concoction drawn from Ben's genetic material, reverting him to his true younger self. The reunion does not hold. When Silvermane's powered men storm the lab, Ogden frees Ben in repayment for saving his life in the war, and in the chaos that consumes the building, he and his mother are killed.
