Sheldon McFee

Sheldon McFee drives a delivery route for the Daisy Clover Dairy. He is a milkman out sick two days running, commuting from a small house on Spring Hill Road in Cedar Grove, New Jersey. The trouble is the truck. He rents it out to Leet Brannis for a quick payday. The racks come back loaded with stolen Nitramene instead of bottles. That one greedy shortcut drops him square in the middle of an SSR sabotage hunt.

When Peggy Carter tracks the truck to his door, McFee makes the mistake of swinging first. She flattens him and lashes him to a chair for a proper interrogation. When left alone, along with his chair, begins to make his way down the road, which is where Chief Dooley and Agent Thompson pick him up. Now he is a rattled man in federal custody with a very detailed story about the woman who bested him.

Sheldon is questioned by Sousa about the woman who attacked him during the Brannis operation. He initially bargains for a lighter sentence, but identifies Peggy when Sousa presents her photograph. His account places Peggy at the scene, establishes that she left with Brannis and the nitramene truck, and gives the SSR evidence it cannot ignore.
