The New Deal
Tillman is one of Ernest Koenig's men, a hard-edged fixture of the speakeasy who watches newcomers with suspicion. When Coulson and Mackenzie turn up the same day a local bootlegger goes missing, he refuses to buy their cover story and pulls a gun, certain the strangers will never be found. The confrontation instead reveals Coulson's durability when the shot fails to stop him, and Tillman and the rest are put down by Mackenzie.
