1872-06-15 CE - What if... ? - Season 3, Episode 6: 1872?

Jun-Fan is a boy whose entire town has been taken aboard the ghost train, his father among them, and he is the only one who slipped through. Shang-Chi and Kate find him alone and frightened, and it is Shang-Chi who talks him into moving past the fear and doing something with it. When Kate is pulled under Burch's hypnosis and the fight turns against them, Jun-Fan rings the train's bell ten times, the signal that calls Shang-Chi to action, and the distraction it creates is enough to break Burch's hold on Kate and turn the tide. He nearly does not make it that far. A gunman has him dead to rights before Uatu steps in and brushes the threat aside, breaking his oath to keep the boy alive. Jun-Fan ends the day having helped free his people, his father among them, and carrying something new in his posture that Kate notices directly, remarking that he has some iron fists on him.
