The Eminence is the leader of a cosmic order of Watchers, joined by two peers, the Incarnate and the Executioner, tasked with holding fellow Watchers accountable to their oath of non-interference. He confronts Uatu directly, blaming him for interfering once again and changing the course of the multiverse, and declares that his conduct can no longer be tolerated. He and his fellow Watchers use cosmic power to slam Uatu into a multidimensional barrier, sending shards of it flying through space, before capturing him and transporting him to their extradimensional headquarters.
