Agent Yauch is another of Chief Dooley's men at the SSR. When Ray Krzeminski works the room trying to pawn off his shift, Yauch turns him down flat, having already promised to take his girl to a show. Yauch has no way of knowing the shift he just dodged is the one that ends with Krzeminski dead in the street.
Agent Yauch is an SSR agent working under Jack Thompson after Chief Dooley leaves for Germany. He is among the agents continuing the investigation into Howard Stark and the stolen technology.
Milestone: Killed by Johann "Dr. Ivchenko" Fennhoff
When Carter. Yauch is assigned to guard Ivchenko while the SSR focuses on finding Peggy. He wants to be seen as more than an overlooked junior agent, and Ivchenko recognizes that insecurity immediately. The doctor draws him into conversation by presenting himself as sympathetic and insightful.
Under Ivchenko’s hypnosis, Yauch reveals where Stark’s recovered weapons are held and identifies the exits from SSR headquarters. Ivchenko then gives him instructions to leave work, visit his favorite bar, enjoy every last drop of a bourbon, and, finally, step into traffic. Yauch follows those commands to the tee and sadly perishes, becoming a casualty of the silent information war taking place inside the SSR.
